Important Information For Visitors

We want every guest to have a safe, fun and memorable day at The Big Goose Adventure Farm & Wildlife Park. The following Terms & Conditions help protect our visitors, staff, animals and facilities while ensuring everyone can enjoy their day on the farm.

By entering The Big Goose, purchasing tickets, attending an event or using our website, you agree to the Terms & Conditions outlined below. These Terms & Conditions are subject to change from time to time. All visitors, ticket holders and guests are bound by the most recent version published on our website.

Admission, Entry & Pricing

• Entry to The Big Goose is at your own risk.

• Visitors are responsible for their own safety and the safety of any children in their care while visiting the park.

• Admission fees apply to all visitors aged 2 years and over unless otherwise stated.

• All prices are displayed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST unless otherwise specified.

• Admission prices, promotions and special offers are listed on our website and may change without notice.

• The Big Goose accepts no responsibility for pricing errors, omissions or misrepresentations published by third-party websites, tour operators, resellers or other external sources.

• Visitors should refer to the official Big Goose website for the most current pricing information.

• The Big Goose accepts no responsibility for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings, vehicles or property brought onto the premises.

• The Big Goose reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any visitor who does not comply with these Terms & Conditions.

Payments, Deposits & Refunds

• Full payment is required at the time of booking or prior to entry unless otherwise stated.

• All admission tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable except where required by Australian Consumer Law.

• Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash.

• Birthday parties and group bookings require a non-refundable deposit at the time of booking.

• Remaining balances must be paid in accordance with the booking requirements.

• Guest numbers for birthday parties may be adjusted up to 24 hours prior to the event.

• Once final guest numbers have been confirmed, charges will apply based on the final guest list submitted.

• Failure to attend a booked event, party or experience does not entitle guests to a refund.

• Any refunds approved by management will be processed using the original payment method where possible.

• Booking fees, transaction fees and third-party charges may be non-refundable.

Children & Supervision

• Children must be supervised by a parent, guardian or responsible adult at all times.

• The Big Goose accepts no responsibility for children left unattended anywhere within the park.

• Children’s party guests must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. No drop-offs permitted.

• Parents and carers remain responsible for the behaviour, safety and wellbeing of children in their care at all times.

Safety Around The Farm

• The property contains deep dams, farm infrastructure, electric fencing, uneven ground, animal enclosures and other hazards commonly found in a working farm environment.

• Visitors must take reasonable care for their own safety and follow all safety signage throughout the park.

• Appropriate footwear should be worn at all times.

• Visitors must not enter restricted areas unless authorised by staff.

• Unauthorised gates must not be opened or unlocked.

• Visitors must not climb fences, barriers or paddock fencing.

• Directions given by The Big Goose staff must be followed at all times.

Park Experiences & Attractions

• The Big Goose combines farm animals, Australian wildlife and family adventure attractions in one unique destination.

• Attractions include playgrounds, tractor rides, mini golf, daily shows, animal encounters and seasonal activities.

• Attractions, experiences and daily shows may vary from time to time due to weather conditions, maintenance requirements, animal welfare needs, staffing levels or operational requirements.

• The Big Goose reserves the right to modify, postpone or cancel attractions, shows or activities where necessary for safety, animal welfare or operational reasons.

• Temporary closures of attractions do not entitle visitors to refunds or compensation.

Animals

• Animals must be treated gently, respectfully and kindly at all times.

• Visitors must not chase, frighten, tease or intentionally disturb animals.

• Our animals are friendly and well cared for, however all animals can behave unpredictably.

• Animals may bite, scratch, kick, peck, spit, nudge or otherwise cause injury.

• Feeding animals is only permitted where authorised by The Big Goose and using approved animal food.

• Animal interactions are undertaken at your own risk.

• Parents and carers are responsible for supervising children during all animal interactions.

Food, Drink & Smoking

• The Big Goose is a glass-free environment.

• The Big Goose is an alcohol-free environment unless otherwise approved by management. Any visitor found consuming alcohol within the park may be asked to leave immediately.

• Smoking and vaping are prohibited throughout the park. A designated smoking area is located in the car park. Visitors found smoking or vaping within the park may be asked to leave immediately.

• Visitors are welcome to bring their own food and enjoy the many picnic tables, picnic areas and grassy spaces located throughout the park.

• Only food and drinks purchased from The Rotunda Café may be consumed within the café seating area.

• Outside food and drinks are not permitted within The Rotunda Café.

• The Rotunda Café is located within the park grounds and is available to paying park visitors.

• Café menu items, trading hours and availability may vary.

• Entry fees must be paid to access The Rotunda Café and park facilities.

Photography & Filming

• By entering The Big Goose, visitors acknowledge that photographs and video recordings may be taken throughout the park.

• Visitors, and any children in their care, may appear incidentally in photographs, video recordings, social media content, website content, promotional material, advertising, printed publications and other marketing materials produced by The Big Goose.

• Entry to the park constitutes consent for The Big Goose to use such images and recordings for business, promotional and marketing purposes without compensation or further notification.

• Parents and guardians provide this consent on behalf of children in their care.

• Visitors who have concerns regarding photography, filming or media usage should speak with a member of staff upon arrival or during their visit.

Visitor Conduct

• Visitors must behave respectfully towards staff, animals and fellow guests.

• Aggressive, unsafe, abusive or disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated.

• Damage to park property, attractions, fencing, signage, landscaping or facilities may result in removal from the park and repair costs being charged to the responsible person.

• The Big Goose reserves the right to remove any visitor whose behaviour poses a risk to people, animals or property.

Liability

• The Big Goose takes reasonable care to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for visitors.

• Visitors participate in all activities and attractions at their own risk.

• To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Big Goose accepts no liability for injuries, losses or damages arising from participation in park activities, animal interactions or use of park facilities.

• Management accepts no responsibility for bites, scratches, kicks, nudges, bumps, spits, knocks, trodden on toes, cuts, burns, grazes, breaks, falls, slips, trips, stings, allergies or stupidity.
